P.S.

I posted a few weeks ago about a challenging experience I had at Baystate when the chemo port was installed (January 3, A Long Day). I sent Dr. Mark Keroack, the CEO of Baystate, a shorter version of that post.

I want to acknowledge here that I received a phone call from the radiology department head and a letter from the patient relations department. The woman I spoke to was polite and professional. She was specific in relaying the steps that had been taken to follow up on my concerns. She was apologetic. She seemed genuine in her appreciation that I had taken the time to write. She made me feel that Baystate wanted to do better. I choose Baystate for my medical care and am pleased with their response.
